Allen County commissioners gave their blessings for Loren and Regena Lance to increase their footprint in Mildred.
The Lances own the Mildred Store, which they improved and made as a monthly destination for music and dancing.
Now they will develop a mobile home park.
Commissioners also approved use of county officers lending a hand at Biblesta.
Humboldt City Administrator Cole Herder told commissioners traffic would be diverted around downtown Saturday afternoon to accommodate the parade.
A detour will send traffic at the north edge of town to the still-open portion of U.S. 169, to Delaware Road (often referred to as Tank Farm Road) and then back to the old highway south of the Monarch quarry.
The detour will be in effect from noon to about 3 p.m.
Herder also said efforts to identify a specific site for a new ambulance station in Humboldt had not yet been firmed up.
Sheriff Bryan Murphy said he continued to develop specifications for a 500-foot tower proposed for a mid-point in the county to provide better emergency radio coverage.
