The Allen County Conservation District annual meeting is Wednesday evening in Iola High School commons. A meal will precede award presentations and the business meeting.
The Kansas Bankers Association is sponsor for soil conservation and water quality awards. The grassland award will be given by Sharp Brothers Seed Company.
The district has been in place since 1940.
