Lunar or later: An eclipse

Humboldt photographer and astronomer Mike Myer was out in the cold November predawn hours Friday to snap photos of the full moon as it was nearly encompassed by the Earth’s shadow for a partial lunar eclipse. Stargazers across North America will get their next chance to see a total lunar eclipse in May.
