Iola High School and Iola Middle School students tested their musical abilities, and their endurance, Saturday for a 12-hour Practice-A-Thon.
The students came and went through the morning and afternoon, with seven making it all 12 hours, instructor Brandi Holt said.
Pledges will be collected through Wednesday, with proceeds to buy much-needed equipment and instruments.
