Iolans Willie and Tracy Keagle built the box, for Stotler to install over the weekend. Already, anonymous donors have placed assorted non-perishable food items, free for the taking. He encouraged folks to “leave what you can, or take what you need.” The boxes are not locked and can be accessed 24 hours a day.

LaHarpe Police Chief Joe Stotler shows the new donations box erected outside LaHarpe City Hall that will serve to provide food for families in need. The box is similar to Blessing Boxes placed in several spots in Iola.
