LAHARPE LaHarpe Police Chief Ashley Wright and her husband, David, were taken into custody this morning by sheriff s deputies, stemming from an arrest warrant for David out of Rule, Texas, where he was a former police chief.
Allen County Sheriff BryanMurphy told the Register Ashley Wright was arrested after she refused deputies entry into their house to execute the warrant against her husband.
David Wright fled the residence but was apprehended outside. The couple lives in the old LaHarpe Methodist Episcopal Church, where he serves as pastor.
