MORAN A Moran farmer was injured in a two-vehicle accident just west of Moran Monday morning.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported Kent L. Boyd, 45, was westbound on U.S. 54, about one-half mile west of town, when his John Deere tractor was struck from behind by a pickup driven by Richard E. Goodman, 48, Moran.
Boyd was pulling a trailer, troopers said, when the accident occured, just after 7 a.m.
Boyd was transported to Allen County Regional Hospital.
Goodman was not injured in the accident.
