Wintry weather has prompted officials to keep the Allen County Courthouse closed to the public Monday, although the Allen County Sheriff’s Office and public works departments will remain open.
In addition, Iola-USD 257 schools — which were slated to reopen after the Christmas break Monday — also will remain closed.
Other area schools, including Humboldt, Marmaton Valley and Crest, do not return from Christmas break until Tuesday.
