Cara Barkdoll, Allen County’s register of deeds for the past 20 years, is seeking another term in office.
Barkdoll began working as a clerk under her predecessor, Jacqueline Webb in 1997. She was appointed to succeed Webb in December 1999 after Webb retired.
She was elected to her first full term a year later, and was re-elected in 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016.
The filing deadline is noon June 1.
