“American Pickers,” a popular History Channel documentary series that features Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz combing the countryside for unusual or rusted antiques, will be in Kansas this spring.

The hit show follows the pair, two of the most skilled “pickers” in the business, as they hunt for sizable, unique collections and learn the interesting stories behind them.

They’re looking for leads and are eager to explore southeast Kansas.

Anybody with a large, private collection or accumulation of antiques is encouraged to contact the show’s producers at 1-855-OLDRUST (653-7878), or via Facebook at @GotAPick. Emails can be sent to [email protected].

Submissions must have the sender’s name, town and state, phone number, a description of the collection and precise location.
