HUMBOLDT Racing returned to Humboldt Speedway Friday with five big classes hitting the famed Bullring.
Mitch Keeter picked up another A feature victory in the McCarthy Auto Group NASCAR Modifieds, this time in dominant fashion.
Keeter parlayed his pole position starting spot to the first-place spot in the opening lap and never looked back.
Points leader Tanner Mullens had to settle for second after battling Chanutes Paden Phillips for the majority of the laps of the feature. Tad Davis and Tyler Davis rounded out the top five.
In Rays Metal Depot B Modified Racing, Tyler Kidwell capitalized on his pole position starting spot to end Cody Jollys winning streak. Kidwell, along with Kenton Allen, used the high line around the three-eighths-mile track to make Jollys task even harder. Jolly, starting inside the third row managed a top-five finish, running fourth. Allen ran a seasons best second with Matthew Kay in third. Jolly and Pittsburgs Brian McGowen rounded out the top five. Kidwell also picked up an extra $200 bounty, sponsored by G Style Transport, for defeating Jolly.
Other feature winners were Jacob Ellison in Home Savings Bank NASCAR Factory Stock, David Miller in OReilly Auto Parts Sport Compact and Brayton Skaggs in Midwest Mods racing action.
