Those worried about putting on a pound or two during the upcoming holiday season will have ample opportunity to find some physical activity Saturday.
The annual Jingle Bell Jog departs from Iolas Riverside Park at 11 a.m.
The event, sponsored by the Iola High School track and field team, will follow a new route this year, utilizing the local trails and the Washington Avenue bridge spanning Elm Creek.
Kids events start at 10:30 a.m., including the annual Catch the Cookie competition.
Registration costs $17.55, and will pay for a long-sleeved T-shirt.
