JH Wildcats go 2-1 in Pleasanton

Marmaton Valley Junior High volleyball traveled to Pleasanton  Monday where they took on the host Blu-Jays, Yates Center and Northeast-Arma.

The Wildcats opened with a loss against Pleasanton in three sets 25-20, 21-25 and 13-15. Raveyn Kegler led the team with 15 points from serves and Janae Granere and Tayven Sutton scored four points apiece.

Madison Lawson and Roslyn Houk each had three points and Emma Schmidt and Payton Scharff each contributed a point.

The Wildcats then won a three-set match versus Yates Center 10-25, 25-16 and 15-13. Lawson had 10 points, Kegler and Schmidt had six points and Granere had four. Houk and Sutton each had a point.

Marmaton Valley wrapped things up with a two-set sweep of Northeast-Arma 25-10 and 25-23.  Houk and Schmidt had eight and Lawson had six. Granere and Sutton had four and Kegler had three.

The Wildcats will return to Pleasanton next Thursday.
