It’s a bingo

Thrive Allen County and Televeda offered both in-person and virtual events to set a world record for the largest bingo game. A small group of dedicated bingo enthusiasts turned out for the game.

Jim Berry, center, places a Hershey’s Kiss to mark a spot on his bingo card Friday afternoon. Also pictured from left are Tina Craft and Barbara Berry, with Brad Berry at right. Thrive Allen County and Televeda offered an attempt to set a world record for the largest bingo game, with more than 2,000 participants from 26 states. The event took place at 125 in-person locations, and was livestreamed for virtual participants.
