“We have a wide variety of retail items to offer with our full-service pharmacy,” said Jeff Dieker, pharmacist and store owner. Other pharmacy owners are Bill Walden, Jim Bauer and Travis Coffield.
IOLA RESPIRATORY and Home Medical, 107 E. Madison, has a number of lift chairs that would be both a practical and caring gift for a family member who has difficulty getting out of regular recliners.
“We have sold several walkers and a stethoscope, which will be a gift for a medical student,” said Donna Bauer, billing specialist in Iola Respiratory.
A new foot analyzer arrived last week in Iola Respiratory and Home Medical. A person looking for a proper fitting orthotic for their shoes need only to step on the footpads which will record the contours of the foot for the proper fit of the insoles.
The business carries a full line of diabetic shoes and socks. The shoes are not only for diabetics, but also for those who simply like a comfortable shoe. The store also carries sugar-free candies and cookbooks with recipes for diabetics.
Gift certificates are a popular choice and can be used to buy merchandise or pay for prescriptions, Dieker said.
