Savonburg Public Library received a $175 programming grant from the Southeast Kansas Library System to be used for a performer, Aaron Fowler, who will present a music-based childrens program during the summer reading program. The SEKLS programming grants help libraries present programs for children, youth, or adults in their communities.
The Southeast Kansas Library System, headquartered in Iola, is one of seven regional library systems in the state, providing financial, technological, and professional support to libraries and library users around the state.
