There’s still time to cast your vote in a blood battle between law enforcement and fire/EMS teams in the Battle of the Badges blood drive at Allen County Regional Hospital.
The Iola Fire Department/Allen County EMS team leads the Iola Police and Allen County Sheriffs, 29 to 21, heading into todays second round. Each donor can vote, with the winning team earning bragging rights and a traveling trophy in what organizers hope will become an annual competition.
The drive continues today, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at ACRH.
