ELSMORE — Friends of Chris Coffman, formerly of Yates Center, will gather for a fundraiser Saturday at TJ’s Bar and Grill in Elsmore.

Coffman, 38, suffers from stage 4 mantle cell lymphoma, a cancer that attacks the body’s lymphatic
system.

Coffman has undergone a strenuous chemotherapy regiment since his diagnosis in April, and the disease is in remission.

The dinner begins at 7:30 p.m. Saturday with smoked pork, homemade bread and finger foods, for $6 a plate.

Music provided by Greasy Chicken Dinner will add a touch of flair. Coffman will perform with the group, which features area musicians Joey Evans, Papa Joe Evans and other musical friends.

Proceeds will help with medical expenses.
