Family Safety Fun Night is the centerpiece of Thursdays Allen County Farmers Market session in downtown Iola.
Emergency personnel from several different agencies will be on hand to show off their equipment to youngsters of all ages from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Jefferson Avenue in downtown Iola.
On top of the safety demonstrations is a wide variety of produce, baked goods, handmade items and other food. Red Beard BBQ and Around the Corner will have booths set up as well.
The market shifts to downtown Humboldt from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday on the square.
The market also runs from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays in the parking lot at 700 N. State St.
Farmers Market vendors accept EBT and debit cards, while also participating in the Double Up Food Bucks program.
