The Iola Kiwanis Clubs annual Easter Candy Hunt highlights a busy Easter weekend throughout Allen County. The hunt begins at the courthouse square at noon Saturday. Participants are encouraged to arrive on time, because the thousands of pieces of candy usually are found within a minute. In case of rain, the event will be moved to Allen Community Colleges Student Activities Building (the red barn).
