Area donors will be able to give blood Wednesday, while celebrating their Kansas City Royals fandom at the same time.
The Community Blood Center of Greater Kansas City will set up shop at Iolas John Silas Bass Community Building, 505 N. Buckeye St, from noon to 5:30 p.m.
Each person who shows up to donate blood will receive a limited edition Royals T-shirt.
Walk-in donations will be accepted, or a person can schedule an appointment online at esavealifenow.org, and entering iola as a sponsor code.
