Christmas trees, lights, garland and wreaths are a welcoming sight when walking through the front door of Diamond Daisy.
Along with holiday cheer, the store is filled with gifts and flowers that can be given as gifts.
Christmas deals include:
• Gift delivery service — a perfect idea for those on the go as well as those tied down to work or home. Gift items include fresh and artificial flowers, candy and balloons.
• Dollar days. Friday and Saturdays, choose your own stem for $1 and $2 from selected flowers from the front cooler. The flowers are wrapped, no vases, and cash and carry only.
• Poinsettia orders will be discounted 15 percent if ordered by Dec. 1. Call 365-7447 to pre-order.
• Twelve months of Christmas. A fresh arrangement is delivered monthly to your person selected — family, friends and co-workers. You set the price and Diamond Daisy will do the rest.
Some of the other items that can be purchased in the store are baby items, candles, frames and home décor.
The store’s big sale day will be during the Downtown Christmas Block Party on Dec. 14, which includes fellow merchants The Market Place, Party Girls, Salon Nyne, Classy Attic, Town and Country, Audacious Boutique, Peace of Mind, Mel’s Place, McGinty-Whitworth and Sophisticated Rose.
The block party will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Block party participants will be given a punch card from any of the stores and are required to get it punched by each store by the end of the party. The card will be entered into a grand prize drawing of $220 in gift certificates.
