Darolyn Maley, county treasurer, stepped into the chairmanship of the Allen County Republican Central Committee, earlier this year.
Maley assumed the position after Jim Talkington, former county commissioner, resigned from the position shortly after he stepped down as a county commissioner.
The Register was made aware of the transition on Wednesday
