A rash of cattle theft reports recently has the Woodson County Sheriffs Department on alert.
The department encouraged residents Saturday to speak out if theyve seen any activity that seems suspicious.
The department also urged farmers to check on their herds to see if (a) any cattle are missing; or (b) if extra cattle have shown up on their property.
