The show — or at least rehearsals — can begin.
Brian Johnson, Sara Lott, Andrew Oatman and Liz Ulrich will fill roles in the Iola Community Theatre’s spring production, “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change.”
“It’s a great cast, all with beautiful voices,” said Dee Sell, an ICT board member.
Singing talent is a must for the show, which has a number of catchy tunes, along with enough dialogue to keep it moving through the lives of two couples.
Act I explores the journey from dating and waiting to love and marriage. The second act takes on the agonies and triumphs of in-laws and newborns, trips in the family car and finally pick-up techniques of the geriatric set.
The play will be at the ICT Warehouse Theatre, 205 S. Jefferson Ave., Feb. 24, 25 and 26 and March 2, 3 and 4. Tickets may be purchased at Sophisticated Rose, 19 S. Jefferson Ave.
