Work is nearly complete on the pedestrian bridge crossing Elm Creek along South Washington Avenue.
Iola Assistant City Administrator Corey Schinstock told City Council members Monday plans are in the works for a ribbon-cutting celebration sometime this spring, as soon as work is complete.
Crews still must complete a sidewalk connecting the bridge to the street.
