GARNETT — An Anderson County man, missing since his abandoned car was found near Garnett Saturday, was found dead Tuesday.
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Department reported the body of Devyn Long, 24, was found Tuesday afternoon in rural Anderson County.
A team of 20 searchers, including emergency personnel, Kansas Bureau of Investigation agents and other volunteers comprised the search party.
Sheriff Vernon Valentine announced in a press release that there was no sign of foul play. An autopsy has been ordered to determine cause of death.
Long’s disappearance sparked an extensive search after his car was found southwest of Garnett in rural Anderson County.
The KBI issued an endangered person advisory Monday after Long had not been located.
