CHANUTE Allen County sheriffs deputies partook in a joint investigation that led to 16 arrests Thursday related to distribution of methamphetamine.
The Chanute Police Department detailed the arrests in a press release, calling the investigation Operation Street Sweeper.
The two-month joint investigation culminated in several arrest warrants being executed in Neosho County, CPD reported. The effort also included the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
Those arrested:
Aubrey M. McKinney, Humboldt; and Foster A. Curls, Wade W. Wilson, Jeremy M. Wilmot, Shelby T. Young, Jeffery R. Sinclair, Heather R. Treiber, Patrick J. Blanchard, Brion Dinkel, Rickie A. Blanchard, Donna R. Brewer, Tim L. Ingles, Heather A. Cox, James A. Briggs, Jessica M. Coyer and Ashten N. Wilson.
The defendants ranged in age from 22 to 50, according to CPD. Additional arrests are expected.
The suspects are being held in both Neosho and Allen County jails.
