Good news.
Glen Norman is coming to the rescue of Allen County Cleaners.
“It absolutely is not closing,” Norman said in response to a story in Saturday’s Register about Lori Stottlemire closing shop.
Norman had leased the business to Stottlemire since August 2009.
The cleaners will be open on a “limited basis,” through June, under the management of Norman’s wife, Florence.
Come July, “It’ll be business as usual,” Norman said.
Norman is recovering from two recent surgeries.
“The doctor told me to lay low for four to six weeks,” he said. “I’ll opt for the four.”
