The Southwind Extension District’s Woodson County office, in conjunction with the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas, will present an Aging With Attitude Expo in Fort Scott April 26.

To assist with planning, the Community Foundation of SEK presented Southwind with a $1,000 grant this week.

This will be the ninth year of the Aging With Attitude expo, noted Barbara Stockebrand, Southwind Extension agent and chairman of the planning committee.

The expo is geared for older adults and their caregivers and promotes a positive attitude about aging, while offering education about physical, mental and financial health.

Previous expos have been held in Iola, Chanute, Pittsburg and Parsons.
