Allen Community College will offer up a pair of music shows next week.
The Allen Concert Choir, under direction of instructor Adrienne Fleming, will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Creitz Recital Hall.
The Allen Concert Band and Jazz Band, under direction of Jeffrey Anderson, will get its turn in the Creitz Hall at 7 p.m. next Thursday, Oct. 18.
Both shows are open to the public and admission is free.
THE ACC Music Department also is putting the final touches on its Swing Night Fundraiser Oct. 26 at the Dr. John Silas Bass North Community Building.
Tickets sell for $15 apiece or $25 per couple. A cash bar serving beer and wine and complementary appetizers will be catered by Rookies Bar and Grill.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., dance lessons with Roger Campbell start at 7, with the ACC Jazz Band and a live DJ taking it over from 7:30 to 10 oclock.

Proceeds go to the Music Department and help provide scholarships, field trips, uniforms and instruments for music students.
