Iola Cub Scout Pack 55 offered up high-speed excitement Sunday afternoon with its annual Pinewood Derby hosted by Allen Community College.
The event drew 17 competitors, including four girls, for the first time in the event’s history,
Noah Anderson took home first place for the day, followed by Alston Nelson in second, Jemma Womelsdorf in third and Desmond Quackenbush in fourth.
