Allen County 911 Communications Centers education program received a combined, $7,810 in contributions in recent weeks.
To date, the program has reached more than 10,000 students since its inception in 2010.
The programs growth has allowed the education program to expand from kindergarten through third grade to include fourth-graders, 911 director Angie Murphy explained.
A $3,810 grant from Enbridge will pay for a pair of staffers to attend a national educators conference, Murphy said.
The education programs are geared toward how youngsters should react in case of an emergency, and how to properly contact authorities.
