Wings of Warriors handed out 34 gift cards between Nov. 12 and Feb. 11 to help defray expenses for those battling cancer, club members were told at their Feb. 11 meeting.
That’s common.
But this month, members also agreed to give money to some to help with utility bills.
Members tabled discussions on setting up a post office box for the organization and what to do about the group’s phone for the cancer car transportation service.

Seven members attended the meeting held at Sam & Louie’s in Iola.
The next Wings of Warriors meeting is scheduled for March 11.
