The Wings of Warriors has sold its “cancer car” for $6,500, members were told at their June 10 meeting, held at the old Gas Grade School building.
The group distributed eight gift cards to cancer patients since the previous Wings of Warriors meeting, and members agreed to buy a mattress for one patient in need.
New T-shirts were ordered and will be sold.
