Iola police officers are requesting vandalism charges be filed against a suspect blamed in shooting out several windows in North Iola.
Mike Cooper, owner of Mikes Carpet, said a pair of picture windows to his business at 803 N,. State St. were shot out sometime Oct. 7. That was the same time three other residences on North Jefferson Avenue reported window damage, officers.
The suspect was not identified, although officers said he is a student at Allen Community College.
A BB gun was used, officers said.
