Our Lady of Lourdes in Pittsburg was the 2:30 p.m. Nov. 13, 2010, setting for the wedding of Erin Michele Weston and Jeffery Robert Mills, Grandview, Mo. The ceremony was performed by the bride’s uncle, Deacon Jim Clements, of Dumas, Texas.
The bride is the daughter of Ann Weston, Moran, and the late Don Weston. The groom is the son of David Mills, Elsmore, and Lucinda Lonergan, Iola.
Stacy Revelle, St. Louis, Mo., served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were JoAnna Curl, Moran, Michaela Stephens, Overland Park, Johnna Mobley, Lawrence, and Jennifer Frey, Clinton, Iowa.
Serving as best man was Jere Mills, Grandview. Groomsmen were Jesse Marshall, LaHarpe, Justin Mills, Elsmore, Curt Drake, Moran, and Justin Sager, Iola.
Following a honeymoon to Cozumel, Mexico, the couple are at home in Grandview.
Mrs. Mills is a 2001 graduate of Marmaton Valley High School, 2003 graduate of Allen County Community College, 2005 graduate of the University of Kansas and a 2009 doctor of optometry graduate from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tenn. She is self-employed as an independent optometrist in Independence, Mo.
Mr. Mills is a 2000 graduate of Marmaton Valley High School, 2002 graduate of Allen County Community College and 2005 graduate of the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration program at Fort Scott Community College. He is an HVAC technician for KB Complete in Shawnee.
