A white water rapids rafting trip on the Arkansas River near Canon City, Colo., was the 3:30 p.m. July 17 setting for the wedding of Shannon Marie Taylor and Ashley Bryan Johnson of Parker, Colo. The Rev. Brad Taylor of Littleton, Colo., performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of James and Pamela Taylor, Centennial, Colo. The bride’s son is Brayeden Daniel of Centennial. The groom is the son of Douglas and YoLonda Johnson, Towanda, and grandson of Ira F. Johnson of Iola and the late Melda M. Johnson.
Mrs. Johnson is a respiratory therapy student at Pima Medical Institute in Colorado. Mr. Johnson is an over-the-road truck driver for United Natural Foods.
Following a honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico, the couple are at home in Parker.
