St. John’s United Methodist Church in Kansas City, Mo., was the 3:30 p.m. April 17 setting for the wedding of Fawn Rufer and Scott Strickler of Overland Park. Kyle Hern perform the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Greg and Vicki Rufer, Springfield, Mo., and the groom is the son of Mike and Gin McGie and Tom and Julie Strickler, Iola.
Cheynee Rufer, Springfield, served as maid of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Lauren King, Springfield, Magen Holmes and Lindsay Pfaupsch, Overland Park and Candace Shaw, Iola.
Best man was J.D. McRae, Iola. Groomsmen were Ryan Coffield, North Dakota, Mark Hayes, Georgia, Brian King, Texas, and Aaron Franklin, Iola.
The couple are at home in Overland Park. Mrs. Strickler is an event stylist, and Mr. Strickler is a funds administrator for State Street Bank.
