St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Humboldt, was the 5 p.m. Oct. 9 setting for the wedding of Kayla Owens and Matt Westerman, Piqua. The Rev. David Meier performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Tim and Virginia Wools, Iola, and David Owens, Neosho Rapids. The groom is the son of Daryl and Judy Westerman, Piqua.
Grandparents attending the ceremony were Dale and Virginia Sandlin, Iola, Sheldon and Ruth Caudell, Colony, Bill and Charlotte Owens, Humboldt and Clarence and Ruby Owens, Iola.
Bridesmaid was Kelci Owens, Iola, sister of the bride. Anna Westerman, Piqua, daughter of the groom, was junior bridesmaid. Flower girls were Gracie Westerman, Piqua, daughter of the groom, and Karley Wools, Iola, sister of the bride.
Luke Westerman, Eureka, brother of the groom, was the groomsman.
Following a honeymoon in Branson, Mo., the couple are at home in Piqua.
Mrs. Westerman is employed as a pharmacy technician at Iola Pharmacy. Mr. Westerman is employed as a superintendent at Crossland Construction.
