Cassie Marie Mason, daughter of Rick and Chris Mason, Chanute, and Blake Adam Mueller, son of Curt and Alisha Mueller, Humboldt, were united in marriage in the presence of family and friends on July 16 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. David Meier.
Maid of honor was Chelsey Donovan, Chanute. Bridesmaids were Emily Mason, Chanute, and Amanda Mason, Tulsa, Okla., sisters of the bride, Whitney Haynes, Wichita, and Stevi Lockwood, Orange, Calif. Junior bridesmaid was Jada Davis, Chanute. Flower girl was Jyl Davis, Chanute.
Best man was Zachary Mueller, Kansas City, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were John Rickner, Manhattan, James Rickner, Ottawa, Clement Neely, Manhattan, and Ryan Herder, Humboldt.
Seating the guests were Travis Brock, Independence, cousin of the groom, and Derek Wrestler, Humboldt.
The bride’s maternal grandparents Tom and Marge McLaren, Chanute, and the groom’s maternal grandparents, Larry and Wilma Brock, Humboldt, were all in attendance. A memorial table was set at the entrance of the church for the groom’s paternal grandparents Merle and Eileen Mueller.
Mrs. Mueller is a 2006 graduate of Chanute High School and 2010 graduate of Neosho County Community College’s Mary Grimes School of Nursing.
Mr. Mueller is a 2005 graduate of Humboldt High School and graduated in 2009 from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in animal science. He is a partner in Mueller farms.
The wedding was followed by a reception and dance at Lil’ Toledo south of Chanute. The newlyweds are at home east of Humboldt near the Mueller family farm.
