Jacob Heffern and Katerina Eckley, both of Tulsa, were married June 30, 2017, at The Springs in Skiatook, Okla.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Marianne Eckley, Lewisville, Texas. Her grandparents are Virginia Boehm Taylor and John Boehm, Dallas, and Laverne Eckley and the late John Eckley, Big Spring, Texas.
The groom is the son of Larry and Mary Heffern, Topeka. His grandparents are Bernita Heffern and the late Charles Heffern, Iola, and Robert and Sally Foster, Topeka.
Officiating was Mark Boehm, Dallas.
Matron of honor was Adrianna Bobo, Fort Worth, Texas. Bridesmaids were Raquel Baeza, Dallas, Anne Diaz-Arrastia, Philadelphia, Lindsy Liggett, Chicago, and Jacqueline Wode, Alexandria, Va.
Best man was Andrew Kipp, Gardner. Groomsmen were Kyle Heffern, Lee’s Summit, Mo., Eric Heffern, Manhattan, Michael Crossen, Houston, and Michael Eckley, Lewisville.
Mrs. Heffern is a 2009 graduate of Ursaline Academy in Dallas, and a 2013 Kansas State University graduate with a degree in animal science and industry. She works for a veterinary oncologist in Tulsa.
Mr. Heffern is a 2009 Iola High School graduate. He earned a degree in mass communications from Kansas State University in 2013. He works as news director at Fox 23 in Tulsa.
Following a honeymoon in Playa Mujueres, Mexico, the couple lives in Tulsa.
