Three area students received academic scholarships to attend Washburn University for their freshman year of college beginning this fall.
Ashlynn Booth, Humboldt, Jasmine Gardner, Moran, and Regan Godderz of Colony, received the scholarships based on their academic performance at their respective high schools, which included a GPA of 3.0 or higher and an ACT composite score of 21 or higher.
