The Eyes of Freedom, a traveling memorial dedicated to honoring our nation’s veterans, will visit Independence next month. The exhibit will arrive the evening of Wed., November 8 at the city’s Memorial Hall, 410 N. Penn Ave.
An opening ceremony is scheduled for 6 p.m. the evening of the 8th, and the exhibit will be open the next two days, Thursday and Friday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
On Veteran’s Day, Sat., Nov. 11, the display will open at 9 a.m. with a closing ceremony scheduled for 4 p.m.
The exhibit is free and open to the public.
