I wouldn’t change a thing

By: Chantal Catron

I met my fiancé Robert in 2019, when through a job we went on a delivery run together. We talked and sang in that truck for hours.

After about three months of talking and spending time together, we decided to make it official. We’ve been through our share of rough times: a miscarriage, our house burned down, and many more, but we’ve been able to take all the negatives and turn them into positives. The challenges have made our relationship stronger than ever.

In 2021, we found out we were having a child; our son was born in 2022. Robert proposed to me six months later. He did so with our baby holding a piece of paper and an engagement ring.

I said yes, of course. He’s taken in my three boys that I have from a previous relationship as his own; we now have a family of four rowdy boys and us. I would not change the last five years for anything. He is a wonderful dad to all my kids, and a wonderful fiancé. I couldn’t ask for anyone better to spend the rest of my life with.

He’s my rock

By: Laree Wools

I met my husband Cody Wools back in 2016, when his mom was my boss at my former job. When I first saw him, his sweet personality and confidence immediately overtook my heart. That, and his leather Harley jacket!

Since then, we have blended our families with our daughters from previous marriages, had a son of our own, and adopted my brother as our own. I wouldn’t be the mother, woman, or wife I am today without my husband. He is truly my rock. He supports me in everything, and I’m very thankful I was given a loyal husband, great father, and God-fearing person to be my soulmate.

We have faced some trials in the past seven years with our son and his cystic fibrosis, personal issues, and, well, just life, but at the end of the day I’m forever thankful that Cody is by my side to face the good days and the bad ones. We’ve grown in those situations. I’m so glad we didn’t just stay friends and that God had a bigger plan. I love you Cody Wools!

Shopping wasn’t just a chore

By: Desiree Call

I’d been eyeballing Eric a few months before we met. I would see him out at Walmart stocking bananas or checking the meat department. He never noticed me, but I sure had seen him. I would tell my daughter about him every time we were there. He looked so familiar, but I couldn’t figure out how I knew him.

Fast forward two to three months, and I got a notification on my dating app. It just so happened to be “Walmart guy.” I was so excited and happy — I immediately hearted him back. We talked for about a week, got engaged six months later and married six months after that. We have been married for almost three years, and now I can tell you where I knew him from. He was the man of my dreams.

From friends to lovers

By: Helen Gray

My husband is Trevor Gray. His parents and my mom were friends, so we grew up together.
