Susan Dale McWhirter and Timothy Richard Morrow are engaged to be married Sept. 28 at Iola Presbyterian Church.
Susan is the daughter of Connie and Ken McWhirter, Moran. She is a 2007 Marmaton Valley graduate and a 2012 Emporia State University graduate, with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She works at Newman Regional Hospital in Emporia.
Timothy is the son of Theresa and Timothy Morrow, Ottawa. He is a 2007 graduate of Ottawa High School. In 2010 he graduated from Flint Hills Technical College in electricity and will graduate from Emporia State University with a business degree this year. He works at Bobby D’s Bar-B-Que in Emporia.
