Steve and Betty (Vanatta) Reeder, Carl Junction, Mo., will celebrate 40 years of marriage in August.
The couple was married on Aug. 2, 1975, at Bronson United Methodist Church.
Steve is self-employed and Betty is currently employed at an eye clinic in Joplin, Mo.
They have two children, Andrea Page and Todd Reeder and six grandchildren.
Friends and relatives are invited to help the couple celebrate their anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. on July 5 at Bronson United Methodist Church Annex. The party is hosted by the couple’s children, Andrea and her husband Mike, and Todd and his wife Ashley and the couple’s grandchildren. A card shower is also requested.
