Lauren Marie Plummer and Aaron Killough Stauffer were married on June 17, 2017, in Nashville, Tenn.
Lauren, of Dewey, Okla., and Aaron of Iola, Kan., met in New York City when Aaron was studying at Union Theological Seminary.
Lauren is the daughter of Angelina Conover and Michael Conover, and the late Gregory Plummer. She holds a bachelor of arts degree from Lipscomb University and a master’s of theological studies from Vanderbilt Divinity School. She is currently a housing advocate at a local nonprofit.
Aaron is the son of Susan Lynn, Iola, and Clay Stauffer, Holland, Mi. He graduated from St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minn., and Union Theological Seminary for his master’s of divinity. He is currently in his third year of Union’s doctoral program and teaching at local colleges in Nashville.
Lauren and Aaron were married at Woodland Hollow Barn on a beautiful summer evening followed by dinner and dancing. They honeymooned in Cuba.
They make their home in Nashville.
