Suprenna Dunkin and Kenneth Stanley exchanged their wedding vows at 4 p.m. June 3, 2017 at their historic home on the east bank of the Neosho River, Humboldt.

Pastor Randy Dirrim, formerly of Westview Southern Baptist, Chanute, officiated. 

Suprenna is the daughter of Wayne and Dorothy Dunkin, Unionville, Mo., and a graduate of Putnam County High, Unionville, Mo., and Pima Community College, Tucson, Ariz. She is a seamstress and quilter and helps Kenny on the farm.

Kenneth is the son of Marvin and Reta Stanley, Elsmore, and a graduate of Marmaton Valley High School, Moran, and Allen Community College, Iola. 

Serving the bride as maid of honor was her aunt, Sherri Williams, Fort Smith, Ark. Serving as bridesmaid was Vickie Smart, sister of the groom, Scipio. Danielle Lynch, niece of the groom, Stilwell, attended the guest book and gifts table. Lisa Crow, Centerville, Iowa, and Tracey Peterson, Smithville, Mo., friends of the bride, served cake and were helpers. Glendoris Duncan, friend to the bride, Oklahoma City, served as photographer. 

Jerald Smart, brother-in-law of the groom, Scipio, served as best man. Derek Hanson, a nephew, Moran, was a groomsman. Dylan and Logan Raider, grand- nephews to the groom, Lawrence, served as ring bearer and flower boy respectively. Lisa Lynch, sister to the groom, Stilwell, served as hostess.

Serving as ushers were Kolton Hanson, grand-nephew of the groom, Moran, Glen Dunkin, nephew of the bride, Independence, Mo., and Logan Dunkin, nephew of the bride, Princeton, Mo. 

Chris and Kayla Raider, niece of the groom, Lawrence, arranged the music.

A seat was reserved in memory of Ingrid Holm-quist Rubal, Ohio, a best friend to the bride.

A cake and punch reception followed the ceremony at the “Stanley river house.”

The couple honeymooned in Kentucky and Tennessee, visiting Civil War battlefields, cemeteries and national parks.
