As the rain leaves and the sun comes out, enjoy some shopping for your Labor Day entertaining needs at Allen County Farmers Market.
At Thursdays market on the square, vendors will offer fresh-baked goods including bread, cinnamon rolls, cookies, muffins, pies, sweet breads and turnovers. Also available will be chicken, beef, eggs, jams and jellies, hand-crafted wood bowls, cutting boards, rocking horse and rolling pins, as well as jewelry, soaps and natural personal products.
The fresh produce selection includes, cantaloupe, cucumbers, fresh herbs, garlic, green peppers, honey, hot peppers, okra, spinach, squash, tomatoes, watermelons and zucchini.
Around the Corner will offer iced coffee and lemonade, and will also take orders for salads and sandwiches.
The market accepts EBT, debit cards and participates in the Double Up Food Bucks Program.
